My all time favourite album. Pete is great here and Ace's guest appearances are really good.

My Faves on this one are. Good Times and Blue Moon Over Brooklyn..

I have always thought this album along with the band CRISS was all done to show Gene and Paul that Pete was still around, a kind of back door way to get back in KISS. I did see Criss live in 1992 though and I have to tell you it was great, Peter Criss from the front row (right up against the little stage) in a mid sized bar.. It kicked ass!!

I have also seen Dio, King's X, and WASP in this same bar.. For a small place it is a great place for shows!! In Fort Wayne Indiana
KISS freak for life, husband of the most beautiful woman in the universe, father of the greatest girls ever, and stepfather of one nut, and Grand Dad to one BEAUTIFUL Baby Girl forever.. I love them all with all my heart and always will !!!

It's ok if you don't like it. That just means you are not a blind fan.

Hi GaCatmandu, you have been on a Criss Show in '92???

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have two video tapes of that era, the 92 New York Ritz-Show, "I got this fucking acoustic guitars"...
And I think Vegas or something in 93, off course not the best quality, but anyway great!!!

For me is Cat 1 the most less favourite album, Best Song Good Times, written about the divorce and separating from Debbie.
Down with the Sun is a good one too, Blue Moon got a good start & some good moments too,
until Ace ruined that with his awfull solo, just my opinion you know, I know you will see that different.

But I have to say that I like "The Cat" from the 93 EP very much, especially the end of this song, ha,ha.....

It's a shame that he didn't took it for the Cat 1 CD too, I guess that maybe he lost his courage a little bit ( against G & P).

Bad Attitude and Walk the Line are not bad, but a little to slow,
im sure they will rock and funk more with a faster tempo...

And We Want You is for me the worst Song on a Peter Criss Record ever, but fortunatly he didn't sang it, ha, ha.

You guys know that his Co-Lead Singer back then, Mike Stone, is playing with Queensryche since a couple of years?
As a guitar player.

LONG LIVE GEORGE CRISCUOLA !!!

+ ACE!!!
+ Ballads about loss in Good Times and Blue Moon Over Brooklyn
+ Ticket To Ride reference at end of BMOB
+ Down With The Sun harmony vocals
+ Acoustic Guitars on Beth

- MIKE STONE........ARGH!!! I HAAAAAAATE this guy's vocals. He barfs out vocals and gives this album the generic grunge wannabe vibe this album has.
- Peter's entrance on Beth is a bit off, isn't it?

That's all I can think of right now. My least favorite Peter solo album, but I like it mostly.

"Good Times" is a great tune! I like the songs on it that Pete sings best. The production on this LP is what makes it great. Overall song-for-song I think Peter's two solo albums after leaving KISS are better. Both of those are great but are too slickly produced and could've been ever better if they had a rougher-edged production. JMO.

I agree with you Nately 120 - except the Ace-Guitar,
for me he ruined the Blue moon over brooklyn Song,
yes Beth it's not his best version and the singing of Stone...
I start to think about your lines, wannabe grunge... yes I think I know what you mean...

It's a pitty, that Tracks like Bad Attitude and Walk the Line are a little to slow,
they could be more rocky-funky, allways think about Kravitz, how he would perform this two tracks,
remember Deuce of Lenny?

And... it's crazy, but I like the production of Peter himself on One For All much more than the well-known Dito Godwin and his production with Cat 1, could be better, especially the Best Song, Good Times,
less Guitar- less drums - and much more and louder the great piano for example,
and Peters and the guys backings at the end too, could be really smoother and better!
