Welcome to the 9 Lives of Peter Criss

As a kid I remember looking at the pic on the inside of Alive II, and I could listen to that whole album and just stare at that pic the entire time, trying to find evey minute detail. Kind of like a twisted 'Where's Waldo.'

Now of all things on that pic that screamed at me and memorized me was Peter's drum riser. as a young drummer it was the most awe inspiring thing I had ever laid my young eyes on, at the time.

So what where your feelings, impressions when you first saw the giant cats that are Peter's drum risers? Do you have any pics of it?

i thought it was amazing! still do.

It was a great effect. the icing on the cake, it added to the persona of Pete as well.

I thought it was just awesome. I remember thinking "well, of course! how could he have had anything different?" lol

And yes, I wanted risers like that, too.
