Notice that Peter's last name was spelled Cris - one "S" at that time.
He changed it to that from Criscuola as we know.

Marie also wrote;

Trivial Trivia :

Peter was given his first cat, whom he named Mateus, from Chris Aridas' girlfriend at that time.
She was giving away all of the kittens since she wasn't allowed to keep any as she was still living with her mom I think.
Mateus, as we know, was the inspiration for Peter's "Catman" makeup/personanna.

Another bit of info :

Stan Pendridge replaced Chris Aridas after Chris left the band shortly after the Chelsea LP was released.
Stan and Peter would become good friends and they wrote "Beck" [ which would become "Beth" years later for the Destroyer album as we know ] and many songs for the band that Chelsea eventually became, Lips. Many songs on Peter's 1978 solo LP were closely based on collaborations with Stan while in Lips, but with a jazzier feel to them.

Michael Benvenga was Chelsea's bassist.
"...Michael Benvenga would pass away due to pneumatic menegitis. Peter had always promised Benvenga that, if Peter ever did a solo album, Michael would play on it. When the time came for such an album in 1978, Benvenga was already gone. Peter dedicated the album to him as a tribute to a musician who he truly enjoyed playing with..."
